Whitby Steelhawks win the ALL Cup

The Whitby Steelhawks capped off their inaugural Arena Lacrosse League season with a thrilling 12-10 victory over the Paris RiverWolves to win The ALL Cup. Game MVP Blaze Riorden lead the Steelhawks attack with 4 goals and 4 assists with goaltender Lucas Coote backstopping the Champions with stellar goaltending similar to what Coote provided in the Steelhawks huge OT win over Toronto Saturday in the Semi-Finals.

Semi-Final OT winning goal scorer Austin Murphy was again a huge factor with 3 goals, 5 assists. The Steelhawks persistent defense continued to get timely loose balls providing the winners with timely possessions.

Zach Herreweyers lead the RiverWolves with 4 goals and an assist, Mike Burke and Spencer Pike each added a goal and 4 assists to pace the RiverWolves attack. Nolan Clayton again provided outstanding goaltending but on this afternoon it wasn't enough as the Steelhawks 6 Power Play goals were the difference.
