On November 13th, 2023, the Arena Lacrosse League West Women's held their 2023-2024 combine at the Langley Field House; on the unceeded Traditional Territory of the Kwantlen, Katzie, Semiahmoo, and Matsqui First Nations. We saw an increase in interest in the league with over 138 players who registered, off those we now have 125 for the up coming season!

Players were divided into 3 groups of roughly 40 players, with a total of 10 goalies who came to showcase their skills. Players were given 45 minutes of skills and drills, were they were put through various drills that allowed evaluators time to grade each player. After which time the a 30 minute scrimmage took place were the group was divided into 2 teams.

Over all it was a successful day filled with lots of lacrosse and players will be eagerly awaiting to find out which one of the 6 teams they will be drafted on. Our coaches will have one heck of a time picking their players for the up coming season. This will be WALL West final year of doing an all player combine, with the intent of having 6 equally matched teams and hosting a combine for new players to the league.

First Game of the season will be on December 2, 2023 with game one taking place at 1:00 pm, we hope to see you there!
