Six Nations Snipers top Paris RiverWolves in Inaugural Arena Lacrosse League Exhibition Game

The Paris RiverWolves travelled to Hagersville Wednesday night to face the Six Nations Snipers in the inaugural Arena Lacrosse League exhibition game only to come up short 18-11 before 146 fans at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. Danton Miller's 5 goal, 2 assist performance was complimented by Roger Vyse's 4 goal, 2 assists and Ashton Jacobs 3 goals to pace the Snipers. Brett Ulbikas had 3 goals to lead the RiverWolves who played without many key players due to other committments.

The game played under NLL rules saw both teams push the pace throughout the game but it was the Snipers who scored first and lead from start to finish, 4-2 after the first quarter, 9-5 at half time, and 15-8 at the end of three. The Snipers had a full complement of players and made some changes at half time to have a look at many key players who are challenging for a roster spot come January 5th roster deadline.

Five goalies saw action including Marko Celic (9 goals against), and Doug Buchan (9 goals against) splitting the game for Paris. Six Nations used Chase Martin for the first half (5 goals against), Brent Donhauser (3rd quarter, 3 goals against) and Brendon Styres (4th, 3 goals against).

Six Nations went 2 for 4 on the Power Play and Paris went 3 for 7.
