Power Rankings for Week 13 of the Arena Lacrosse League East:

1. Whitby Steelhawks (11-1):

This team just seems to be getting stronger and stronger.  Already a scary offense, this week showed how stifling a defense they have as well.

2. Oshawa Outlaws (8-4):

Lasts week's game against Whitby could be a preview of this year's final.  If the Outlaws want that result to be different they will need more offensive answers against the class of the league.

3. Brampton Express (7-5):

Two huge come from behind victories against the Paris RiverWolves has the Express up in the rankings.  A big game against the Outlaws this week might make more changes in the power-rankings.

4. Paris RiverWolves (7-5):

Two tough losses to Brampton have them down one spot in the rankings.  Both were close but winnable games.  A huge game against the Steelhawks this week.

5. Toronto Monarchs (5-7):

This was their best showing and most complete game of the season.  The defense and goaltending have been the backbone of the team.  If the offense is catching up, this team can make noise in the playoffs.

6. Peterborough Timbermen (5-7):

A rough week against a strong defense dropped them down in the rankings this week.  The Timbermen need a good showing against a rejuvenated Snipers team this week.

7. Six Nations Snipers (3-9):

While the first half wasn't as strong as they would like, the second half against Ohsweken showed just how dominant this team can be.  Facing the Timbermen this week, let's see if they can stay more consistent.

8. Ohsweken Bears (2-10):

Another week in which the first 30:00 minutes were played well, but had trouble in the second half.  The Toronto Monarchs are their next opponent.  A good showing will go a long way to breaking out of the funk they have been in.
