Mike Burke of the Paris RiverWolves has been named the 2018 Arena Lacrosse League Most Valuable Player after leading the RiverWolves to a second place finish. Burke finished the season with 63 points including 25 goals in 10 regular season games. The RiverWolves captain then added 22 points in three playoff games as the RiverWolves were the 2018 ALL Cup Finalist.

“Mike is very deserving of the league MVP and signifies what the ALL is about as a league that grows talent for the NLL, he is a true leader, on and off the floor,” stated RiverWolves General Manager and Head Coach Jamie Dubrick. “His dedication to improving his game while leading his teammates brought our team to new heights during the 2018 season. His leadership and play was instrumental in our team finishing 2nd in the regular season standings despite injuries to other key players, his playoff performance was 2nd to none as he lead the ALL in playoff points.”

Burke recently signed a two-year contract with the Rochester Knighthawks in the NLL.

Baron, the official provider of ALL championship rings and individual awards will provide Burke with a commemorative ring to signify his terrific 2018 ALL season.
