Luke Laszkiewicz of the Oshawa Outlaws has been named the 2020 Arena Lacrosse League Most Valuable Player, garnering three first place from the ALL panel of coaches. Cam Milligan was the runner up with two first place votes; Bryan Neufeld finished third.

Laszkiewicz destroyed the ALL season goal record by scoring 51 times during the 2020 season stopped short by COVID-19. It took Laszkiewicz 11 games to become the first 50 goal scorer in ALL history, finishing at 51, an incredible 4.64 goals per game, a huge reason the Oshawa Outlaws were in fourth place at the stoppage.

"Luke is an absolute pure goal scorer," stated Outlaws Head Coach and General Manager Steve McCarthy. "He shoots the ball as hard as any player in any league. Luke had a brief opportunity with the Buffalo Bandits during our ALL season missing an Outlaws game in the process. When it didn't work out he came back and stepped his game up to a new level. He became more engaged on the floor, creating his own space and took on a leadership role that carried through the rest of the season."

Laszkiewicz is also the Arena Lacrosse League all time leading goal scorer with 117 over a four year career that includes 36 regular season games. Twice during the 2020 season, Laszkiewicz scored eight goals, another ALL record that he shares with Layne Smith of the St. Catharines Shockwave.

"Luke is a talented player, but an even better person and I can't be more proud and delighted that he has been selected as the 2020 ALL MVP," added McCarthy.
