Darcy Powless named new Six Nations Snipers GM/Head Coach

The Arena Lacrosse League announced today that Darcy Powless has accepted the role of General Manager and Head Coach of the Six Nations Snipers, replacing the outgoing Stew Monture. "We are excited to have Darcy join the Snipers in the lead role, he brings ample experience and enthusiasm to the position" stated the ALL VP of Media and Public Relations Lance Winn. "Stew did a terrific job as the Head Coach the past 2 seasons and was looking to find some time away from the game as he also coaches during the summer, Darcy comes highly recommended and when we met with Darcy last week, we knew we had our guy."

When reached, Powless added "I'm excited at the opportunity to lead the Snipers into the up coming ALL season. We have a lot of veteran players and new batch of hungry young talent coming up in the community . I'm looking forward to blending them together and getting the Snipers to the top."    

The Snipers open training camp the week of December 3rd, preparing for their December 29th opener in Toronto against the Monarchs, a 2pm start at the TRAC. They play their first home game the following day on the 30th against the Peterborough Timbermen, game time at the ILA is 4pm.
