Darcy Powless named 2022 ALL East Coach of the Year

The Arena Lacrosse League would like to congratulate Darcy Powless of the Six Nations Snipers (Every Child Matters) who has been selected by his peers as the winner of the 2022 ALL East Coach of the Year Award. 

In his third season at the helm Powless was a guiding force and instrumental in the teams overall success ensuring the mix of youthful talent complimented the veteran leadership, building a solid nucleus as the foundation for a winning formula. 

Powless, along with assistants Vince Longboat and Nick Skye led the Snipers to a 10-2 record, finishing the regular season on a six-game winning streak and first place in the ALL East standings. The trio would continue their success guiding the Snipers to a perfect 2-0 record in the playoffs en route to the teams first ALL East Cup championship, besting the Whitby Steelhawks and Coach of the Year runner-up Gavin Prout 16-11 in the final.

Darcy will receive a commemorative ring courtesy of Baron Rings, the official ring supplier of the ALL.
