Arena Lacrosse League East – Week 14 Game Recaps


The Arena Lacrosse League East wrapped up its 2025–2026 regular season with four exciting matchups during Week 14.

Saturday – Children’s Arena (Oshawa, Ontario)

Early Game

Toronto Monarchs 12 – Whitby Steelhawks 9

After an evenly played first quarter, Toronto picked up the pace in the second. Led by a pair of goals from Tanner Buck, the Monarchs jumped out to a 5–1 lead. Owen Orpana got Whitby back into the game with a pair of late goals, cutting the lead to 5–3.

The teams traded goals to open the third quarter, but another four-goal run—led by Cody Innes—gave the Monarchs a 10–4 lead midway through the frame. Whitby battled back, scoring four of the next five goals over the following fifteen minutes, but Sam Haines and the Monarchs’ defense tightened up to secure the 12–9 victory.

Late Game

Peterborough Timbermen 12 – Oshawa Outlaws 10

Oshawa got off to a strong start, jumping out to a 2–0 lead. The Timbermen answered with a pair of goals from Aaron Woods to tie the game. The teams continued to trade goals through the remainder of the half, with Oshawa holding a 5–4 lead at halftime.

Whatever was said in the Peterborough dressing room worked, as the Timbermen came out flying in the third quarter. Led by Aaron Woods and John St. John, Peterborough rattled off four goals in just 3:27, shifting the momentum. Zach Terry tried to get the Outlaws back in the game, but a pair of power-play markers from Geoff McNulty put Peterborough firmly in control.

Oshawa increased the tempo in the fourth quarter. Adam Hawrelak scored twice on the power play to bring the Outlaws within two late in the frame. However, Kaleb Martin shut the door the rest of the way, preserving the 12–10 Timbermen victory.

Early Game

Six Nations Snipers 21 – Paris RiverWolves 13

Six Nations came out flying, jumping to a 3–0 lead just 2:29 into the game. Paris responded with a pair of goals, but the Snipers still led 5–2 after the first quarter.

The back-and-forth continued throughout the second quarter. Each time the Snipers extended their lead, the RiverWolves battled back. At halftime, Six Nations held an 8–5 advantage.

The trend continued into the third until the Snipers finally broke the game open with a four-goal run led by Wes Whitlow. Andy Campbell briefly halted the momentum for Paris, but Whitlow answered again to keep Six Nations firmly in control. Despite Paris continuing to battle, the Snipers rolled to a 21–13 victory.

Late Game

Brampton Express 18 – Ohsweken Bears 11

Despite missing five starters, the Express came out strong. Led by Curtis Ward, Brampton jumped out to a 3–0 lead. Shane Halliwell answered for Ohsweken, but an unassisted goal from Daniel Clarke gave the Express a 4–1 lead after one quarter.

Ohsweken kept things close in the second, outscoring Brampton 3–2, but still trailed by two at halftime.

The Express exploded for nine goals in the third quarter, led by James Whiteford, Curtis Ward, and Jake McNabb, taking a commanding 15–7 lead after three.

The Bears pushed back in the fourth, scoring four of the next five goals behind Shane Halliwell and Herron Snow to pull within four. However, late goals from Curtis Ward and Carter Coffey sealed an 18–11 Brampton victory.
