Arena Lacrosse League East Power Rankings - Week Three

The Arena Lacrosse League East Power Rankings after Week Three:
1. Peterborough Timbermen (3-0) ---
For the third week in a row this team looked impressive! Aaron Woods, Cam Milligan, and Hawi Francis, continue to lead the Timbermen's high octane offense.
2. Brampton Express (2-1) ⬆️ 1
The Express showed the resilience of a champion. A tight game that went back and forth looked to be a loss. Against the odds, shorthanded, with the goalie on the bench, they were able to tie the game with 0:20 seconds remaining, and win in overtime. A character win!
3. Ohsweken Bears (2-1) ⬆️ 1
The Bears took charge early in this game, and although the second half had a few scary moments, Ohsweken looked good in the win. Special mention to Sam Forbes who was sensational in net this week.
4. Oshawa Outlaws (1-2) ⬇️ 2
Although the Outlaws lost this week, they put up good offensive numbers scoring eighteen on a powerhouse Timbermen team. If they are able to tighten their defense, this team has shown they can be a force in this league.
5. Whitby Steelhawks (1-2) ⬆️ 2
Owen Orpana and Parker Pipher both had strong weeks once again. Devin Pipher has taken to the role of facilitator nicely. The defense is starting to gel as well. This team will soon be in the top tier of the league once again.
6. Toronto Monarchs (1-2) ---
While the Monarchs showed a lot of heart this past week, the offense is too talented to only put up eight goals in the game. The good news is the defense is looking more and more like a unit that is on the same page.
7. Paris RiverWolves (1-2) ⬇️ 2
A slow start and a rough third quarter sealed the fate of the RiverWolves this past week. Although they looked to come out of it with a nine goal second quarter, a tough second half made it a long afternoon. While the offense is firing on all cylinders, the defense needs to tighten up if they hope to be consistent this season.
8. Six Nations Snipers (1-2) ---
This was the offensive game I knew they had in them. Also, even though the second quarter fell apart on them, they showed character in the second half to take over the game. It is only a matter of time before they start moving up the rankings.
