Arena Lacrosse League East Power Rankings - Week Ten

The Arena Lacrosse League East Power Rankings after Week Ten:
1. Whitby Steelhawks (7-3) ---
Now winners of six in a row, this team gets stronger by the week. Linden Sinifield, Parker Pipher, and Liam Osborne led the way, but scoring from eleven different scorers shows how deep this lineup is. Ryan Schuetzkowski and Craig Johannson were superb in net.
2. Brampton Express (7-2) ---
A slow start had the Express chasing most of the day. But it's not how you start, it's how you finish. Six goals in the fourth quarter led by Jake McNabb put Brampton in the winners circle once again. Laine Hruska had another solid game in net making 43 saves for the Express.
3. Toronto Monarchs (6-4) ---
The Monarchs started strong getting out to a 5-0 lead halfway into the second quarter. As the game wore on, the intensity started to falter, letting Brampton into the game. This team has all the tools to challenge in the playoffs if they can play a full sixty minutes.
4. Peterborough Timbermen (6-4) ---
The trade deadline saw the Timbermen make major moves. The addition of John St. John will add more versatility to an already potent lineup. Cam Milligan, Aaron Woods, Zach Thompson, and Hawi Francis will benefit greatly from the facilitating ability of St. John. Peterborough also went out and got insurance in net by adding Kaleb Martin. Along with Jackson Hainer, the Timbermen's goaltending is now one of the strongest in the league.
5. Six Nations Snipers (3-6) ⬆️1
Once again the Snipers played well enough to win, just falling a bit short in the end. A back and forth struggle with the Timbermen saw the game tied on six different occasions. The offense is getting stronger every game with six different scorers on the day. If the team can play consistent through a full sixty minutes, they may surprise some folks.
6. Oshawa Outlaws (3-7) ⬇️ 1
The era without John St. John has begun. The offense will have to find other options to get things rolling. While this is a big loss this year, with the draft picks aquired this will be a much different looking team moving forward.
7. Paris RiverWolves (3-6) ⬆️1
While the offense has definitely come to life, a concern is definitely how many goals the defense is giving up. Down early, the team had to fight all afternoon to stay in the game. Tying the game with just 0:19 seconds left, the RiverWolves kept the momentum into overtime winning the game on an Owen Rice tally. While it wasn't pretty, the team definitely plays exciting lacrosse.
8. Ohsweken Bears (3-6) ⬇️1
While the Bears have had a lot of offensive output, this past weekend was their fourth loss in a row. If the defense can get things under control, this team can compete with anyone in the league. There is too much talent here for this team to stay in the basement.
