Arena Lacrosse League East Game Recaps - Week Ten

The Arena Lacrosse League East continued their 2025-2026 season with four big match-ups in week ten.
Saturday at the Childrens Arena in Oshawa, Ontario:
Early Game
Oshawa Outlaws 8 Whitby Steelhawks 20
The Oshawa Outlaws put up a good fight in the first quarter, tied 3-3. However, there is only so long you can hold this potent Whitby offense down. A six goal run in the second quarter led by a Linden Sinifield hat-trick had the Steelhawks up 9-3 at the half.
Zach Terry tried to carry the Outlaws offense, scoring four on the day, but the Steelhawks were just as strong in the second half led by Liam Osborne and Parker Pipher. Ryan Schuetzkowski gave up only six goals in three quarters in a stellar performance for Whitby, with Craig Johannson looking sharp in relief in the fourth quarter as well. The Steelhawks win handily 20-8.
Linden Sinifield (4g,4a), Parker Pipher (5g,2a), and Liam Osborne (3g,3a) led the Steelhawks, with Jonah Kerr (1g,4a) as the facilitator.

Sunday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Haggersville, Ontario:
Early Game
Ohsweken Bears 18 Paris RiverWolves 19 in Overtime
In the most explosive game of the weekend, Paris and Ohsweken squared off in a game that needed extra time to decide. While the Bears started well, seven of the next eight goals from the RiverWolves turned the game upside down in the second. Led by Andy Campbell and Kaymon Diabo, Paris took a 12-7 lead to the dressing room at the half.
In the second half, led by a Layne Smith hat-trick, Paris clawed their way back. They eventually took a 17-15 lead with just 5:08 remaining in the game. Tye Argent and Kaymon Diabo scored for the RiverWolves to tie the game at 13:15, but a blast from Dante Kulas 0:20 seconds later seemed to give Ohsweken the win. Tye Argent kept fighting for Paris, converting a Kaz Nizielski pass at 14:41 to send the game to overtime.
In the extra period, Owen Rice was able to finish an Andy Campbell pass from in close to give Paris the 19-18 win at 3:03.
