Arena Lacrosse League East Game Recaps - Week Seven

Due to the weather, the Arena Lacrosse League East only presented two game in week seven, with the other two rescheduled for a later date.
Saturday at the Childrens Arena in Oshawa, Ontario:
Early Game
Whitby Steelhawks 15 Oshawa Outlaws 10
Whitby and Oshawa played a very even first quarter. It looked like it would be deadlocked at two until Ryan Haigh scored unassisted for the Outlaws with just 0:01 second left in the quarter. Oshawa pushed the lead to 6-2 with a strong opening to the second quarter. Ben MacDonnell, Zach Terry, and Ryan Haigh scored 1:25 apart to take a commanding four goal lead.
Whitby answered with a four goal run of their own that started late in the second quarter into the third, led by a Liam Osborne hat-trick. Zach Terry replied for the Outlaws, but yet another four goal run from the Steelhawks put them firmly in control of the game. Oshawa again stopped the run when Cole Hanrahan scored early in the fourth, but five of the last seven goals were for the Steelhawks, sending Whitby to the winner's circle. The Steelhawks win 15-10.
Owen Orpana (4g,2a), Liam Osborne (3g,4a), and Devin Pipher (2g,5a) led the way for Whitby. Parker Pipher (1g,6a) was the facilitator.
Luke Laskiewicz (2g 3a), Zach Terry (2g,2a), and Ryan Haigh (2g,0a) led the Outlaws scoring. John St. John (0g,5a) was the facilitator.

Late Game
Toronto Monarchs 20 Peterborough Timbermen 13
The Monarchs started strong jumping out to a quick lead with Tanner Buck scoring 1:04 into the game, but Geoff McNulty answered just 0:48 seconds later to tie the game. The Monarchs then pushed the tempo, scoring five of the next seven goals in the quarter to take a 6-3 lead into the second. Toronto kept the pressure up scoring three consecutive goals to take a 9-3 lead in the second quarter. Peterborough got two late goals from Geoff McNulty to close the gap to 9-5 at the half.
The Monarchs exploded for eight goals in the third quarter to break the game wide open with a 17-10 lead, led by Cody Innes, and Tanner Buck. The Timbermen tried to get back in the game in the fourth, but a pair from Riley Ford late in the game sealed the deal for Toronto. The Monarchs win 20-13.

Geoff McNulty (4g,4a), Cam Milligan (2g,2a), and Aaron Woods (2g,0a) led the scoring for Peterborough, with Zach Thompson (1g,4a), and Jack McAlpine (1g,3a) as the facilitators.
