The Arena Lacrosse League East continued its 2025–2026 season with five exciting matchups during Week 13, featuring overtime drama, offensive explosions, and a strong defensive performance in Oakville.
Friday Night at the Memorial Arena in Brampton, Ontario
Six Nations Snipers 15 – Brampton Express 14 (OT)
The Six Nations Snipers and Brampton Express delivered one of the most entertaining games of the season, with the Snipers eventually claiming a 15–14 overtime victory.
Brampton opened the game with a strong push, jumping out to a 3–0 early lead. However, Six Nations responded with a six-goal run, powered by Thunder Hill and Kealon Pilon, shifting momentum firmly in their favour.
The Snipers appeared to have control heading into the late stages of the game, but the Express mounted an impressive comeback. With 1:08 remaining, Six Nations took an illegal substitution penalty, with Brampton being awarded a penalty shot. Curtis Ward made no mistake to send the game to overtime.
In the extra frame, Andrew Vradenburg sealed the victory, scoring unassisted in transition at 1:21 to give Six Nations the dramatic win.

Saturday at the Childrens Arena in Oshawa, Ontario:
Peterborough Timbermen 23 – Paris RiverWolves 11
The Peterborough Timbermen exploded offensively, scoring early and often in a commanding 23–11 victory over the Paris RiverWolves.
Peterborough wasted little time establishing control. Goals from Aaron Woods and John St. John helped the Timbermen storm out to a 9–1 lead in the first quarter.
The second quarter followed a similar pattern, with St. John adding three more goals and Woods scoring twice, sending Peterborough into halftime with a dominant 18–5 advantage.
Paris showed improved play in the second half, led by Nathan Grenon and Koichi Nakamura, who each scored twice. However, Peterborough reasserted control in the fourth quarter to secure the convincing win.

Saturday at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario:
Oshawa Outlaws 12 – Toronto Monarchs 8
The Oshawa Outlaws rode a strong start and excellent goaltending to defeat the Toronto Monarchs 12–8.
Oshawa controlled the early part of the game, holding Toronto to just one goal nearly midway through the second quarter. Led by Luke Laskiewicz, the Outlaws built a 5–1 lead.
The Monarchs responded before halftime, as Tanner Buck and Jordan Dance helped narrow the deficit to just two goals at the break.
Toronto continued to press in the second half, cutting the Oshawa lead to one goal, but the steady goaltending of Quinton Greenfield prevented the Monarchs from taking the lead.
The Outlaws pulled away late, outscoring Toronto 6–4 in the second half to secure the victory.

Early Game
Whitby Steelhawks 10 – Ohsweken Bears 12
In what turned out to be the game of the week, the Ohsweken Bears ended the Whitby Steelhawks’ eight-game winning streak with a hard-fought 12–10 victory.
The game was evenly contested through much of the first half. Whitby appeared to seize momentum late in the second quarter when a pair of goals from Parker Pipher helped the Steelhawks build a 6–4 lead.
Ohsweken responded with the game’s decisive run. Over a fifteen-minute stretch bridging the second and third quarters, the Bears erupted for six consecutive goals, led by Shane Halliwell, to take command with a 10–6 lead late in the third quarter.
Whitby refused to go away quietly, battling back to within one goal twice in the final sixteen minutes. However, Halliwell sealed the win with a late insurance marker with 0:27 remaining, securing the 12–10 Bears victory.
The win extends Ohsweken’s winning streak to four games while snapping Whitby’s impressive run.

Late Game
Brampton Express 6 – Six Nations Snipers 15
In the nightcap, the Six Nations Snipers demonstrated once again that lacrosse is a game of runs, pulling away from the Brampton Express for a convincing 15–6 win.
Six Nations jumped out early, building a 4–0 lead fueled by the play of Briley Maxwell early in the second quarter. Brampton battled back to close the gap to within one, but a late goal from Wes Whitlow with 0:22 remaining in the half gave the Snipers a 5–3 advantage at the break.
The Snipers took full control in the third quarter. Powered by Thunder Hill, Six Nations stretched the lead to 9–3, putting Brampton on its heels.
Although Joey Szabo scored early in the fourth for the Express, the Snipers answered emphatically, scoring five of the next six goals, again led by Hill, to cruise to the 15–6 victory.
