The Arena Lacrosse League (“the ALL”), announced today, the expansion of the ALL-Women’s East Division, as they prepare for the upcoming 2025 season.

The WALL East Division (Women’s Arena Lacrosse League, East Division), operates out of the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA) in Ontario.

In 2024, the East division introduced a re-structured draft system, including an expanded fifth team, that saw each registered player for the 2024 season drafted onto one of the newly created teams; Sirens, Skyhawks, Blazers, Firebirds and Cobras.

“Since transitioning into the role of Commissioner of the WALL in 2023, it has not only been my privilege, but my honour to represent, and support every single one of our ladies with new structure, and a refreshed approach while we continued to work toward building the league,” says WALL East Commissioner, Karie Wells. “While we welcome back our players for the 2025 season, it is with great excitement that I announce that we are expanding again, and have added a sixth team to the Division’, says Wells, the ‘Arrows’ will make their debut on January 4th, 2025 at our first game day at the ILA. It is not without the deepest appreciation of the coaches, players and continued support of the lacrosse community that we have seen an overwhelming response to registration for 2025, and I commit to continuing to grow this league in the years to come.”

The East draft will take place on December 18, 2024, at 7:00pm. Players must be registered, and their fees paid in full to be eligible for the draft.

More information on the Draft including rules, will be posted on the ALL website www.arenalacrosseleague.ca in the coming weeks.
