ALL East Power Rankings Week 6

ALL Week 6 Power Rankings:

1. Paris RiverWolves (4-0):

Game was postponed  due to weather.

2. Whitby Steelhawks (4-1):

A tough loss to Oshawa drops them down one in the rankings.  More concerning is the fourth quarter, where they were badly outplayed by the Outlaws.  A battle for number one against Paris next Sunday will be critical to where they sit in the rankings.

3. Oshawa Outlaws (3-2):

With three convincing wins in a row, the Outlaws are showing that they are an elite team in the ALL.  This by far was the most convincing game beating the previously undefeated Whitby Steelhawks.  More than just any victory, the fourth quarter was their best of the season.  Against a powerhouse like the Steelhawks to rhyme off seven goals (six in a row) while basically holding them off the board in the fourth quarter shows they are ready for all comers.  They face the Express next Friday in Brampton.

4. Ohsweken Bears (2-2):

Game was postponed due to weather.

5. Peterborough Timbermen (3-2):

Although the game didn't start great, good adjustments in the second half had the Timbermen convincing winners.  More importantly the offense is coming from many different players, showing how versatile a team they are this season.  Thomas Kiazyk has been solid in net as well.

6. Toronto Monarchs (2-3):

Another tough loss for the Monarchs this week.  Up 9-5 at the half, they weren't able to overcome the Timbermen's adjustments and fell flat in the second half.  Giving up ten goals while only being able to score three times in the second half is reason for a bit of concern.  The Six Nations Snipers are their next opponent.  Let's see if Toronto can get themselves back on track.

7. Brampton Express (1-3):

Game was postponed due to weather.

8. Six Nations Snipers (0-4):

Game was postponed due to weather.
