ALL East Power Rankings - Week 4
The Arena Lacrosse League East 2024-2025 Power Rankings - Week 4
1. Whitby Steelhawks (3-0)
In a game they were expected to coast in, the Steelhawks had to reach deep to come up with a strong fourth quarter and come away with the victory. The fourth quarter showed how dominant a team Whitby can be when they want to play hard.
2. Six Nations Snipers (2-1)
For the first time in a few years, the Six Nations Snipers can boast a much more complete team. Anchored by Dusty Hill in net this team has showed it has learned how to close out games. If they can stay consistent, 2025 could be a great year for the Snipers.
3. Toronto Monarchs (2-1)
Toronto is showing more and more that they can adapt to any style of play. Wheather a defensive struggle, or a shootout, the Monarchs have the talent to find their way to the top.
4. Peterborough Timbermen (2-1)
A small set back this week against Six Nations. This team is talented enough to be in the conversation with the top teams, but need a bit more consistency. Next week's tilt with the Outlaws will be a good test for them.
5. Brampton Express (2-1)
The Express have no problem scoring a lot goals. The concerning thing in this week's game was the defensive lapse in the fourth quarter. Next game is against Whitby, and to win everyone must be on the same page.
6. Oshawa Outlaws (1-2)
Finally getting the monkey off their backs, I look for the Outlaws to build on their victory. This was the most complete game they've played this year, and the chemistry is coming along. The Timbermen will pose a good test this coming weekend.
7. Paris RiverWolves (0-3)
The RiverWolves were so close to grabbing their first win of the year. However, a loss in OT is definitely something to build on. Led by Matt Duncan, Graham Bergsma and Caiden Merritt, this team has a lot of skill. A re-tooled Ohsweken team is next on the schedule, and should be an exciting match-up.
8. Ohsweken Bears (0-3)
The trade that sent Steven Portelli and Craig Wende to Ohsweken paid immediate dividends for the Bears. This is going to be an exciting team this season as they start to gel. Look for them to start moving upwards.
