ALL East Week 4 Power Rankings:

1. Whitby Steelhawks (3-0):

Did not play.  No movement in the rankings.

2. Paris RiverWolves (3-0):

The RiverWolves were able to eek out a win this past weekend over the Six Nations Snipers, but it wasn't easy.  Down 3-1 early, Paris put together a pair of three goal runs to take a 7-4 lead.  The Snipers hung around all game tying it up on four seperate occasions.  The RiverWolves scored the game winning goal with just 2:15 left when Davis Prince scored unassisted to grab the victory.

3. Ohsweken Bears (2-1):

If the Bears hadn't already proved how much they have improved, this lopsided victory over Brampton put an exclamation point on that statement.

After an evenly played first quarter, Ohsweken erupted for eight unanswered goals in the second to blow the game wide open.  To start the second half the Bears scored five of next six goals and were in total control of the game.  The final score was 17-5 in favour of Ohsweken.

4. Toronto Monarchs (1-2):

Did not play.  No movement in the rankings.

5. Oshawa Outlaws (1-2):

Did not play, but moved up one spot in the rankings.

6. Brampton Express (1-2):

The Express moved down on spot in the rankings with a dismal performance against the Ohsweken Bears.  After a decent first quarter, Brampton was outscored 13-2 in the next 30:00 of play.

The Express will have an opportunity to right the ship Friday night at home when they host the Peterborough Timbermen.

7. Peterborough Timbermen (1-2):

Did not play.  No movement in the rankings.

8. Six Nations Snipers (0-3):

The Snipers were within an eyelash of winning their first game of the season.  They gave Paris all they could handle, but unfortunately came up just short.  The game winning goal was scored with just 2:15 left in the game.  Once again the no quit attitude of this team was on display, tying the game on four seperate occasions.  This team will be a force further down the road.
