ALL East Game Recaps - Week 15
In the final week of the regular season, the Arena Lacrosse League East had four pivotal match-ups.
Saturday at the Children's Arena in Oshawa, Ontario
Early Game
Brampton Express 17 Oshawa Outlaws 14
The Oshawa Outlaws played an exceptional game considering they only had a bench of fifteen runners. Brampton pulled ahead going on a run of six of seven goals to take an 8-3 lead early in the third quarter led by Curtis Ward and Zach Sunderland.
To the Outlaws credit they kept working. Led by Taite Cattoni, who scored five times in the second half, Oshawa clawed their way back in the game down just 12-9.
While the Express kept rolling, Oshawa did their best to stick with them. Jacob Janke's three goals in the second half also kept the Express in control. A pair of late goals from John St. John made the game interesting, but Brampton was able to hold on for a 17-14 win.
Zach Sunderland (4g,4a), Jacob Janke (5g,2a), Curtis Ward (4g,1a), and Curtis Butka (2g,4a) led the Express, with Lucas Ferreira (0g,5a) and Pent Eistrat (0g,3a) as the playmakers.
John St. John 3g,6a) and Taite Cattoni (5g,0a) led the way for Oshawa, who also had six other players with goals in the game.

Late Game
Peterborough Timbermen 16 Whitby Steelhawks 20
In this game two of the top teams faced off against one another and didn't disappoint. Seven different times in the day the game was tied through three quarters in this see-saw battle.
The fourth quarter saw the Steelhawks get on a run scoring five of the next six goals. Led by Cole Hanrahan and Devin Pipher Whitby came away with the 20-16 victory.
Brady Kearnan (3g,7a), Devin Pipher (4g,2a), Cole Hanrahan (2g,2a), and Quinn Hyland (2g,1a) led the Steelhawks offense, which got production from twelve different scorers on the day.
Cam Milligan (3g,8a), Sam Parent (3g,0a), Zach Thompson (2g,4a), Geoff McNulty (2g,3a), and Aaron Woods (2g,4a) led the Timbermen's offense.

Saturday at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario
Paris RiverWolves 11 Toronto Monarchs 10
This was a roller coaster of a game. Tied 1-1 through most of the first quarter, Tanner Buck gave Toronto the lead with four minutes left in the quarter. Paris came to life erupting for four goals in 2:39 to end the first with a 5-2 lead.
The Monarchs defense tightened up, not allowing the RiverWolves on the board ahain until late in the third quarter. During that time, Toronto chipped away to tie the game.
The last twenty minutes was also a back and forth affair. Paris jumped out with three goals in 2:09 to take an 8-5 lead. Toronto stormed back with five goals of their own to regain the lead with just over six minutes left.
Paris kept working and were soon rewarded. Noah Simonelli and Tye Argent scored just 0:32 seconds apart to tie the game with 5:01 remaining. Kaymen Diabo then gave Paris the lead two minutes later. The Monarchs pushed hard but Chase Cosgrove was solid in the RiverWolves net to hold onto the narrow 11-10 victory.
Caiden Merritt (3g,4a) led the way for Paris, with help from Tye Argent (2g,3a), and Kaymen Diabo (2g,3a).
Jordan Dance (3g,3a), Tanner Buck (2g 1a), and Cody Menzies (2g,1a) led the offense for the Monarchs, with Parker Pipher (0g,6a) being the playmaker.

Sunday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Hagersville, Ontario
Ohsweken Bears 12 Six Nations Snipers 13
Ohsweken got off to another great start going up 5-0 on the strength of a pair of goals from Eddie Renaud. Not to be outdone, the Snipers came back with six of their own to take the lead early into the second quarter.
Ohsweken and Six Nations kept battling in the second half. The Snipers took the lead for a short bit, followed by the Bears with their turn with the lead, continuing this see-saw battle.
With 6:03 remaining John Harrington of the Bears scored to make the score 12-11 in favor of Ohsweken. It looked like the Bears were about to put this in the win column until Chayton King tied the game with just 0:19 seconds left. With overtime looming, Wes Whitlow of the Snipers scored with just 0:08 seconds remaining off a Colton Armitage feed for the game winner.
Thunder Hill (3g,1a), and Chayton King (3g,1a) led the offense for Six Nations. Jaden Patterson (1g,7a) and Colton Armitage (1g,5a) were the playmakers.
Eddie Renaud (3g,3a), John Harrington (2g,1a) and Josh Sanchez (2g,2a) led the way for Ohsweken. Colton Padgett (1g,5a) and Steven Portelli (0g,5a) were the playmakers.
