As the playoffs approach, another full slate in ALL East action.
Week 13
Saturday at the Children's Arena in Oshawa, Ontario
Early Game
Whitby Steelhawks 15 Oshawa Outlaws 8
The Whitby Steelhawks continued their dominant ways, this time against the Oshawa Outlaws. Up 7-1 after one quarter, Whitby dictated the pace of the game from the start. Led by Owen Orpana (4g,1a) the Steelhawks were ahead 10-3 at the half. Whitby had outshot Oshawa 37-19 in the half, and if not for the stellar play of Ryan Schuetzkowski, this score could've been far more lopsided than it was.
While Oshawa looked better in the second half, Lukas Coote was steady in the Steelhawks net all day. Taite Cattoni (3g,1a) and Gareth Haigh (2g,1a) tried to ignite the Outlaws offense, but the stifling Whitby defense wouldn't let them get on any runs. The Steelhawks win convincingly 15-8.
Liam Osbourne (2g,3a) and Owen Orpana (4g,1a) led a parade of ten scorers for Whitby on the day. Devon Pipher (1g,4a), Liam Aston (1g,3a), Cam York (0g,3a), and Matt Boissonneault (0g,3a) were the facilitators.
Taite Cattoni (3g,1a) and Gareth Haigh (3g,1a) led the Outlaws, with John St. John (1g,5a) being the playmaker.
Both goalies were outstanding. The shots on goal were in favour of the Steelhawks 64-59.

Jacob Janke and Gavin Thibeault led the charge in the first half for Brampton who outshot Peterborough 40-22.
The Timbermen tried to get back in the game with three quick goals to start the half, but the Express stormed back with six of the next seven goals to put this game out of reach 17-8. Peterborough kept trying to get back in the game, but Devlin Shanahan in the Brampton net, wouldn't let them get on track. Brampton makes a big statement with a 19-9 victory.
