Will Sheehan named the 2022 ALL East Rookie of the Year

by Lance Winn

The Arena Lacrosse League proudly announces that Will Sheehan of the Toronto Monarchs has been selected the 2022 ALL East Rookie of the Year. Sheehan excelled at both ends of the floor, but it was his contributions on the offensive end that stood out. Sheehan finished the year with 55 points (28 goals, 27 assists), good for fourth overall in the ALL East scoring race.

Monarchs General Manager Blaine McCauley had this to say when informed of Sheehan being named the Rookie of the Year. "On behalf of the Toronto Monarchs players and our coaching staff, we congratulate Will for winning this prestigious award and having his name added to the history of great players that have won in the previous years. Will practices and plays the game the right way, from the start of the season to our last game he took advice from our coaching staff and grew into the terrific player he was for the Monarchs, a testament to his character and work ethic. We are proud for Will and the Monarchs organization."

Sheehan will receive a commemorative ring designed by Baron Rings, the official ring supplier of the ALL.

On behalf of the Arena Lacrosse League and Baron Rings we congratulate Will as the 2022 ALL East Rookie of the Year.
