ALL Power Rankings - Week Ten

by Gary Groob

1.  Whitby Steelhawks (8-2)

Although the Toronto Monarchs gave them a tough game in the first half, the skill level of this team came to the forefront with an 8-1 second half. A powerhouse in the league to be sure.

2. Paris RiverWolves (8-2)

Oshawa gave them all they had, but teamwork, and special teams helped them with a big fourth quarter, and another lopsided win, keeping pace with the Steelhawks.

3. Peterborough Timbermen (5-4)

The Timbermen didn't play this week.

4. Six Nations Snipers (4-6)

The Snipers had another good week, beating the St. Catharines Shockwave. A quick start propelled them to a big lead, and although they let the Shockwave back in the game, they were able to hold on for a big win.

5. St. Catharines Shockwave (4-6)

Two losses this weekend have put them in a tough position in the standings. The Shockwave have had trouble this year regaining their championship form of a year ago, with defense being their biggest problem.

6. Oshawa Outlaws (4-7)

The Outlaws split their two games this weekend. First a slugfest with the Shockwave, then a good showing for three quarters against Paris. If the Outlaws can put together sixty minutes, and stay out of the penalty box, they will have much more success and quickly.

7. Toronto Monarchs (2-8)

The Monarchs haven't been consistent this year. They play well for two or three quarters, but can't seem to put together an entire game. If they are able to play all sixty minutes, they will achieve better results.
